Lightspeed is on a mission to
help every student hear every word.
We envision a world where every student and every teacher can listen, learn and share their voice.
We strengthen the connection between teachers and students by creating instructional audio solutions that provide equal access to learning.
We have brought powerful instructional audio solutions to K-12 classrooms around the world for more than 30 years. Each product inspires communication and collaboration by delivering crystal-clear, low-volume and highly intelligible sound.
Lightspeed offers solutions for several learning environments, including whole-group and small-group instruction, as well as support for distance and hybrid classrooms.
Lightspeed employees are passionate about our culture of service. We are dedicated to improving the lives of educators and students through our products, research and partnerships. We are a 100% employee-owned company and are all vested in taking care of customers, each other, and our business. We take pride in our ownership, starting with ensuring our customers are satisfied with our products and service.
Our Core Values
We believe how you do something is as important as what you do. Our employees across the country are committed to living our core values every day.
We are honest, aware of our actions, and strive to do the right thing.
We value colleagues and seek to understand their purposes, concerns, and circumstances.
We discover breakthrough opportunities, solve complex problems, and improve processes.
We come together to serve each other, sustain our culture and grow our business.
We are servant leaders who encourage, support and challenge, but never demean or coerce.
In the past five years alone, more than 3500 schools and districts and over 3.5 million students across the nation use Lightspeed’s instructional audio solutions.
“From a technology angle, this has been one of the biggest game-changers for the district. We’ve reached every student, teacher, and classroom in Livermore and made a difference in their lives.”Geoff Warner, Chief Technology Officer at Livermore Schools
We believe that we are all connected. We strive to strengthen our connection with our local and national education communities by sharing our success with others.
Stand For Children Stand for Children is a non-profit education advocacy organization focused on ensuring all students receive a high-quality and relevant education – especially those whose boundless potential is overlooked and under-tapped because of their skin color, zip code, first language, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability status.
Oregon Food Bank Oregon Food Bank connects people with food today and is building community power to end hunger at its roots, eliminating barriers to employment, affordable housing, health care and more.
Employee Donation Program Each employee donates at least one instructional audio system to the school of their choice. The school and the teachers are provided training and the systems are properly setup or installed free of charge.
We also provide support and sponsorship for several national organizations that focus on the development of our education leaders, including AASA, SRN, RTI, USAA, ISTE, as well as many regional education organizations around the country.
At Lightspeed, we are dedicated to providing a highly positive, collaborative and creative work environment for all our team members.
If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of teachers and students and have your work be guided by our core values, then one of our opportunities may be for you.
